serving low income and disadvantaged children and their
families in Ada and Elmore counties in southwest Idaho,
including Boise and Mountain Home.

The main developmental tasks of infants and toddlers are to form secure attachments with people who care for them.

Learning happens best when children have secure relationships with their caregivers.

All young children need nurturance, support, security, predictability, focus, encouragement and expansion.

Children with and without developmental delays and/or disabilities can learn important things from one another.

Every individual has the right to maintain his or her own identity while acquiring the skills required to function in our diverse society.
